Melanie Dunn is a designer-turned-marketing strategist who spent twenty years learning how people experience information — and the last few years figuring out how to make AI useful, not just interesting.
She's the Marketing Operations Lead at Three Seven Marketing, a scrappy remote-first B2B digital marketing agency based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she works across SEO, content strategy, analytics, and AI operations. One of the things she built there is Pip — a custom AI project manager that connects Claude Code, Monday.com, Toggl, and Fireflies into one place for running retainer work, meeting follow-through, and weekly planning.
Her design background shapes how she builds AI systems. She thinks about the person using the system before she thinks about the technology — where they'll get confused, what they need the output to actually do, how complexity becomes something a real team can use. That same instinct drives Melsplains, her content brand building plain-language AI tools for working moms. Her first tool, Roux, is a Claude-powered meal planning system that takes the Sunday mental-load spiral off your plate in about fifteen minutes.
She's speaking at Cincy AI Week 2026 on AI for marketing and operations. Available for panels, podcasts, and events. Based in Ohio.
400 words. For in-depth speaker intros and profile pieces.
For interview, profile, or speaker intro use: reach out and I'll send the long version directly. Easier to tailor to your format that way anyway.
Topics I speak and write about with authority.
What it actually looks like to integrate AI into a marketing team's daily workflow. Not prompts. Systems. What breaks, what holds, what surprised me.
How search behavior is changing, what AI Overview means for B2B visibility, and how to build content that performs in both traditional and generative search.
Why most dashboards fail and what to do instead. The principles behind reports that get read and acted on.
Practical AI tools for working moms, and for small marketing teams who are doing too much manually. The same logic applies to both.
