Most AI advice is theoretical. I build the actual thing — and then document it, train the team, and make sure it still works six weeks later.
I came up through design — 20 years of it — then crossed into marketing, then marketing operations, and now I'm building AI systems. That sequence matters more than it looks: design thinking is how I structure problems, it just shows up as workflow architecture now instead of layout grids. Marketing ops is where I learned where the real work accumulates: reporting that takes all day, handoffs that break quietly, data that means something only if you know where to look. I got good at finding those places and automating them. Now I do it with AI — building systems that are still running six weeks later, that someone besides me knows how to use, and that are actually connected to the things they need to connect to. The value is the architecture and the implementation. Prompting is the easy part.
- Designed and deployed Pip, a production AI project manager built on Claude Code — multi-API architecture connecting Toggl, Monday.com, and Fireflies via a custom slash-command layer, installed team-wide via automated shell script. Cut the meeting-to-task workflow from 20 minutes to 20 seconds.
- Architected AI-assisted workflows for reporting, content planning, campaign analysis, and client delivery — translated vague stakeholder requirements into structured systems, automation layers, and workflow documentation.
- Built decision-support infrastructure using BigQuery + Looker Studio: collapsed 14-tab client reporting into unified dashboards for non-technical stakeholders across 15+ accounts.
- Designed prompt architecture and team enablement programs that operationalized AI tools across marketing, creative, and project management.
- Drove Bounce Athletics from 0 to 4 sustained AI citations and #1 ChatGPT branded ranking in 10 months through content architecture and strategic internal linking.
- Built and deployed 14+ agentic systems across client and internal work — GTM automation, content pipelines, CRM workflows, and reporting infrastructure.
Architecture: custom /pm-* slash-command layer connecting three external APIs (Toggl, Monday.com, Fireflies). Installed team-wide via shared Google Drive sync + shell setup script. Each command abstracts multi-step API calls into a single interaction.
- Built analytics and tracking infrastructure (SEO architecture, campaign tracking, performance reporting) for a multidisciplinary B2B design agency — the technical marketing systems foundation that informs current AI architecture work.
- Led waterworksforyou.org from zero to cohort-filled: designed and implemented the full digital ecosystem — website, integrated ad package, and SEO strategy — as a unified system oriented around a single goal: launch the program and fill the first cohort.
- Translated client business goals into structured marketing programs; bridged design thinking and performance data across accounts.
- Directed all branding, marketing, and client design for a full-service commercial print and mail house.
- Managed end-to-end production workflows from concept through execution — first experience designing and operationalizing repeatable team processes.
- Founded and operated a design studio that evolved into a digital product business (POD activewear, digital templates); 4,000+ sales, 4.8★ on Etsy.
- Sole operator of all creative, product, and business systems — built and iterated every workflow independently.
Taught commercial design. Alumni Hall of Fame Honoree 2024 — inaugural class.
File-based AI meal planning system designed for non-technical users. Two-tier distribution: Simple (claude.ai prompt templates, no setup required) and Build Your Own (Claude Code with local file context, full customization).
Architecture: household profile, pantry inventory, and weekly store deals stored as local markdown files — persistent context across sessions without cloud storage. Custom slash commands (/deals, /plan, /shop, /inventory-add) drive a full weekly meal planning rhythm.
Integrations: AnyList via MCP (pushes grocery lists and meal plan to mobile app); iOS Shortcut for one-tap home screen access. Publicly documented with setup guide, shortcut guide, and landing page.
